Users have different permissions depending on the access level they were given in a particular project, team, or company. Users can be simultaneously a part of the project and a part of the company.

Project-level permission

Slack Integration and Web-hooks are available only on paid Sympli Handoff plans.

The following table reflects the different user permission levels in a Project.

These permissions are set up in a particular project by clicking the "Share project" button. The user receives their role in the project by getting a link or the personal invitation by email.

Team-level permission

The Teams feature allows users to group people and set up specific roles. This makes it easy to share projects with user's team members.

Teams feature is available only on 'Business' and 'Enterprise' Sympli Handoff plans.

The following table reflects the different user permission levels in a Team.

These permissions are set up within a particular Team. You can add a user to a Team by sending a personal invitation to their email.

Company-level permission

A Company is a team that helps the user to control access to projects to a higher level.

Company feature is available only on 'Business' and 'Enterprise' Sympli Handoff plans.

Jira Server Integration is available only on 'Enterprise' Sympli Handoff plan.

The following table reflects the different user permission levels in a Company.

* Users have a Guest role in Company if they were invited to a company project directly.

** Users can manage company projects where they have a "Power user" project role. After creating a company project, the user with the "User" company role gets the "Power user" role in the project.
