Workspace in Sympli Versions is a designated shared space where a team can work on the chosen projects. This way you can get more flexibility in managing your team's access and seats.

To organize and manage workspaces, open your Profile Page in Sympli Versions WebApp and click on the Workspaces tab to go to the Workspaces Manager.

In the Workspaces Manager, you will see the button "Create Workspace" and a list of the workspaces below it. By default, you will only have one workspace - your personal one. It is marked with a star and is located in the My workspaces section, where all the workspaces created by you will appear. Another section "Accessible workspaces" will show you all the workspaces you have been added to.

Click on your personal workspace to see what you can do with a workspace.

First, you will see a summary of your subscription details. You can click on the Manage Subscription button and it will take you to the billing settings. Every workspace has its own subscription, that can be managed separately. Mind, that the 30-day free trial does not include additional workspaces, only the personal one.

Aside from the seat management from the Workspace Settings, you can:

  • set up Jira integration

  • set up SAML (if you have an Enterprise plan)

  • transfer all contents of the personal workspace

  • transfer the ownership of the workspace*

  • delete the workspace

*If you want to transfer or delete Sympli Versions subscription, please contact support (support@sympli.io).

From the Users Management tab, you can add new users to the workspace, assign and manage their roles, and activate or deactivate them. One more option is to assign an Accountant role to any one of your teammates, thus making this person responsible for managing the subscription.
